The Rocket's Red Glare

 

  • Objective: Shoot off 10 Red Rocket Clusters in 25 seconds or less.
  • Obtain by purchasing during event or having an Engineer make Red Rocket Cluster
    • Sold for 1s by Lunar Festival Vendor located in these locations:
      • Ironforge (30, 15) in the Mystic Ward.
      • Darnassus (34.5, 13.5) in the Cenarion Enclave.
      • Moonglade (36, 58.3) following the path South from Nighthaven.
    • Made by Engineering using 1 each of the following mats:
  • Stand close to a launcher and if you are not quick enough on the mouse then assign it to your spell bar an use the hot key on your keyboard.

 

Frenzied Firecracker

 

  • Objective: Shoot off 10 Festival Firecrackers in 30 seconds or less.
  • Note that you can go into your achievement window and track this achievement and get a counter to show how many Firecrackers you have set off.
  • Festival Firecracker sold by Lunar Festival Vendor. See above achievement for specific location.

 

Elunes Blessing

 

  • Objective: Complete the Elune's Blessing quest by defeating Omen.
  • This is probably the most difficult achievement to get because it requires a raid of level 40+ characters to defeat.
  • Note: If you cannot find a raid to do this, there is a rumor that you can show up after someone else has killed Omen and still get the blessing for the quest.
  • Quest is given by Valadar Starsong in Moonglade. He is the same NPC that gives the quests for the Festival garments and other items.
  • Summoning Omen:
    • Purchase 20 rocket clusters. Color does not matter.
    • Follow the path South from Nighthaven and then East to Stormrage Barrow Dens.
    • Launch 5 rocket clusters which summons Omen minions that need to be defeated.
    • Fire the rest of the rocket clusters and defeat Omen minions as necessary until Omen appears.
  • Fighting Omen:
    • Abilities:
      • Cleave
      • Starfall: AOE attack for 1800 each even on level 70s.
    • This fight is a tank and spank for the Tank.
    • Ranged DPS must move out of the way of Starfall. This can kill anyone, even level 70s.
    • Note that if you die, the graveyard is yards away from the area Omen is summoned and thus easy to return to the fight.
    • Tank may want to kite Omen around to avoid Starfall if the damage is an issue or to help melee DPS avoid the damage while continuing the attack.

 

Elders of Eastern Kingdoms

 

Guide to Eastern Kingoms:
Note: This does include Elders for the Alliance, Horde, and Dungeon achievements as well.
  1. Starting in Stromwind go out the front gates into Elwynn Forest to find Elder Hammershout.
  2. Fly down to Goldshire to find Elder Stormbrow who is slightly West of Goldshire at the pond.
  3. Go to Sentinel Hill in Westfall to find Elder Skychaser on top of the tower.
  4. Head South into Northern Stranglethorn and head towards Zul'Gurub. Elder Starglade is at the entrance.
  5. Continue South to Booty Bay and find Elder Winterhoof on the roof of the Neutral Aution House.
  6. Fly Northeast towards Blasted Lands and go to The Dark Portal to find Elder Bellowrage.
  7. Now to get one of the dungeon Elders you will need to go into the Sunken Temple. Fly North from the Dark Portal into the Swamp of Sorrows and enter the Temple of Atal'Hakkar.
  8. Once inside the dungeon follow the wall to the left and you will find Elder Starsong in the next alcove. If you are 85 you will not aggro any mobs walking by them.
  9. Leave the dungeon and fly North into Burning Steppes. Elder Rumblerock is on the South side of Dreadmaul Rock.
  10. Continue North to Flame Crest in Burning Steppes to find Elder Dawnstrider.
  11. From Flame Crest go over the ridge into Searing Gorge but stay along it's Southern border and go to the cave in the Southwest corner to find Elder Ironband.
  12. Fly into Blackrock Mountain and go into Blackrock Depths dungeon. Inside you head East on the map to the green section above the Detention Block. The skull in the circle in the middle of the green section is where Elder Morndeep is located.
  13. Once out of Blackrock Depths head to Blackrock Spire which is a level above the ring you entered at on the Northeast side. Once inside the dungeon follow the map east and once you get to the wooden bride cross it and to the left is Elder Stonefort.
  14. Go North into Dun Morogh and find Elder Goldwell in Kharanos.
  15. Then fly to Ironforge to find Elder Bronzebeard in The Mystic Ward.
  16. Leave Ironforge and head East to Thelsamar in Loch Modan to find Elder Silvervein.
  17. Fly North to the center of The Hinterlands and find Elder Highpeak on a hill North of the Creeping Ruin which is North of The Altar of Zul.
  18. Keep going North into Eastern Plagelands and find Elder Windrun inside the Crownguard Tower.
  19. Fly East to Light's Hope Chapel and find Elder Snowcrown.
  20. Now to take care of another dungeon elder go into the main entrance of Stratholme. Take the main road to the right to Festival Lane then follow it to the left to find Elder Farwhisper around the corner.
  21. Once out of Stratholme fly South into Western Plaguelands. The Weeping Cave is on the East side of Westernplaugelands north of the main road. Head inside to find Elder Meadowrun inside.
  22. Go South to Scholomance. The next elder is not inside the dungeon but on top of the keep. You are looking for Elder Moonstrike.
  23. Head East into Tristfall GLades and find Elder Graveborn in Brill. Note that you will probably be shot at by guards that are level 85.
  24. Since you have probably been shot at and flagged for PvP now is the best time to head into Undercity for your first Horde elder.
  25. Know that there are no flying guards so you can fly South from Brill to a closer point than running in the front.
  26. Land on the roof above the elder, run in the north door and get Elder Darkcore. There are no guards here but horde may be waiting trying to kill you.
  27. Get out of the room where the Uncercity elder is and fly Southeast into Silverpine Forest to The Sepulcher.
  28. Elder Obsidian is in the middle of the town surrounded by level 85 guards. Fly in and out as quick as possible without landing.
  29. Congratulations you are done with the Eastern Kingdoms.

 

 

Guide to Kalimdor Elders Note: This guide includes Elders that are needed for Alliance, Horde, and Dungeon achievements as well as Kalimdor.
  1. Starting in Darnassus (ported from Stormwind to Moonglade using the Invitation then to Darnassus) you can find Elder Bladeswift.
  2. Fly West to Dolanaar and fin dElder Bladeleaf. Go back to Darnassus.
  3. Leave Darnassus through the Western portal and fly to Lor'danel in Darkshore. Elder Starweave is at the Eastern side of Lor'danel.
  4. Fly Southeast to Felwood's border minding the flying trees and giant vortext of doom. From Bloodvenom Post in Felwood follow the river East and then around the mountains South to find Elder Nightwind.
  5. Continue South to Ashenvale to find Elder Riversong in Astranaar.
  6. Go Northeast into Winterspring to find Elder Brightspear at the East side of Lake Kel'Theril.
  7. Continue East to Everlook to find Elder Stonespire.
  8. Head Southeast into Azshara to the Ravencrest Monument. Elder Skygleam is underneath the legs of the broken statue.
  9. Now time for another Horde capital elder. Fly high above Ogrimmar so they guards wll not shoot at you. Elder Darkhorn is on the ridge where the zeplins dock North of the Valley of Strength. Wait for the flying guards to move away and dive in and out.
  10. Fly South to Razor Hill to find Elder Runetotem on the Southern side of the town right next to the flight master...fun!
  11. Fly Southeast into Northern Barrens to Ratchet on the East coast of Northern Barrens to find Elder WIndtotem.
  12. Keep going East into Northern Barrens to find Elder Moonwarden at The Crossroads.
  13. Continue East into Mulgore to Thunderbluff. Elder Ezra Wheathoof is on Elder Rise. This was also an easy one. Didn't see any flying or regular guards around this elder.
  14. Fly South to Bloodhoof Village and find Elder Bloodhoof by the bridge North of the town.
  15. Fly South to Southern Barrens and at Vendetta Point find Elder High Mountain
  16. Go South to Thousand Needles and find Elder Skyseer at Freewind Post.
  17. Then head East to Mirage Raceway...where is that again? Oh yeah at the bottom of the lake where Rizzle and Pozzik's Speedbarge is located. Don't worry Elder Morningdew knows how to stay dry on the Speedbarge.
  18. Now go South some more into Tanaris to Gadgetzan for Elder Dreamseer.
  19. And further South to the Valley of the Watchers is Elder Ragetotem right outside the giant ruins.
  20. Head West and into Un'Goro crater to the Southern area where Elder Thunderhorn is in the middle of The Slithering Scar.
  21. Continue West into Silithus to Cenarion Hold where Elder Bladesing is located.
  22. Go to the Northwest corner of Silithus to The Crystal Vale to find Elder Primestone.
  23. Fly North into Feralas and find Elder Grimtotem at Lariss Pavillion which is North of Camp Mojache.
  24. From here Fly East to Dire Maul adn find Elder Mistwalker in the Collesium outside the dungeon. Congrats on finding all of the Kalimdor elders but there is one more dungeon needed on this continent.
  25. Fly North to Desolace and go into Maraudon. Take the Orange entrance when the path splits to take you to the waterfall. Head South than all the way East on the map then down the winding path and follow it West then South along the earth bridge to the Southern most part of the dungeon. Elder Splitrock is there. Hearth.

 

 

Elders of Northrend
Note: This guide will take you through all of Northrend and into the dungeons needed. Dungeons can be done on regular or heroic difficulty.
  1. For Northrend I actually started in Scholzar Basin. The toon I was using to write this had no teleport to Dalaran so I ported to Uldum then took the Waygate in Un'Goro to get to Scholzar Basin.
  2. From the Waygate fly North to the River's Heart to find Elder Sandrene.
  3. Continue North to The Lost Lands where Elder Wanikaya is located next to the quest giver Avatar of Freya.
  4. Fly South to Borean Tundra and go into the Nexus. Take the path to the right and continue right towards the frost boss. Elder Igasho is right in front of the boss.
  5. Once out of the Nexus go Southeast to the Transitus Shield and find Elder Northal.
  6. Head South to Warsong Hold and on the Northeast side of it find Elder Pamuya on a ridge overlooking the canyon.
  7. Continue South to Valiance Keep and on the West side outside the walls is Elder Sardis.
  8. Now head back North to the D.E.H.T.A. camp to find Elder Arp.
  9. Go East into Dragonblight and find Elder Morthie in Star's Rest.
  10. Then head North and into Azjol-Nerub dungeon. Elder Nurgen is located down the pit after the 2nd boss. The first boss must be killed to proceed but the 2nd can be skipped by reseting him (feign death tatic) or running past the boss and down the hole.
  11. When you get out of Azjol-Nerub head West to Agmar's Hammer and find Elder Skywarden on the Southern edge of the fort.
  12. Fly Southeast to the coast to find Elder Thoim in Moa'ki Harbor.
  13. Go Southeast to Howling Fjord and run Utgard Pennicle and Utgard Keep.
  14. For Utgarde keep no bosses need to be killed to reach the elder. Elder Jarten is located in a alcove to the left before going up the stairs after the first boss.
  15. In Utgarde Pennicle the first two bosses can be skipped but the third must be killed to continue. After beating Skadi head down the stairs and underneath the stairs is Elder Chogan'gada.
  16. After leaving Utgarde head North into Grizzly Hills to Camp Oneqwah to find Elder Whurain.
  17. Head East to the islands off the coast of Grizzly Hills, Southeast of Bloodmoon Isle to find Elder Lunaro in the Ruins of Tethys.
  18. Now go Hortheast to Westfall Brigade Encampment and find Elder Beldak on the East side of the encampment.
  19. Go North into Zul'Drak and find Tauros in Zim'Torga.
  20. Then head into Gundrak to find Elder Ohanzee who is located behind the 2nd boss, the elemental statue. If you jump into the water and come up the stairs behind the boss you will not pull or have to kill the boss.
  21. Once out of Gundrak head North to Camp Tunka'lo in The Storm Peaks. Elder Muraco is on the ramp leading up to the camp.
  22. Venture into Halls of Stone to find Elder Yurauk who is in the Crystalline Quarry hall which is the West side of the map as you make the loop up to the rock elemental boss.
  23. Leave Halls of Stone and go Southwest towards the Snowdrift Plains to Bouldercrag's Refuge to find Elder Stonebeard.
  24. Now head South to Frosthold and find Elder Fargal.
  25. And then East to K3 where Elder Graymane is located.
  26. That is the last of the Elders of Northrend but there is one more dungeon Elder to be found.
  27. He to Drak'tharon Keep in Zul'Drak. Elder Killas is located in the raptor pen where the giant T-Rex boss is fought.
  28. Now if you have gone through all 3 parts of the guide you are compelte with the finding all of the elders.
